Antti Blomroos

My career in design started at the beginning of the 2000s in an engineering office, working on the mechanical design of paper machines and the duct design of boilers.

At Hefmec, I started in 2004 working on the modernization of paper machine cutters. The tasks have also included tool design for the diagnostics and automotive industry, as well as individual equipment design projects. I have been doing machine and plant design for process technology facilities for over ten years.

I spend my free time mainly with Fords from the 30s, but I’m interested in all old technology. Winters are used for maintenance and repairs, and summers are spent behind the wheel all over Finland and sometimes even abroad. My other hobbies in my spare time are swimming, going for walks, reading, various chores around the old detached house and summer cottage, and movies.
