Pertti Yli-Kohtamäki

I started 2016 at Hefmec. At first, I worked as a design consultant in the automotive industry and as a method and tool designer for customers in the pharmaceutical industry. Later, the range of customers’ industries has expanded steadily and everyone from semiconductor chips to luxury cruisers has become familiar.

Currently, I answer for customers in the pharmaceutical and process industries. Today, the field of tasks also includes consulting related to production development, project engineer tasks for equipment procurement projects and preparation of validation documentation. In addition, I work as an assistant to the supervisors, mentoring the younger designers and consultants of our house.

My free time is spent with 3D printing, berry picking, fiction and non-fiction, stock market world, gym and music. My longest and dearest hobby is wind music, which I have been playing in various orchestras since I was a child, using the baritone horn as my instrument.
