Sami Jortikka

In the 1990s, my career began in the automotive industry and progressed from the foreman of a welding shop to the position of project engineer in production technology. At Hefmec, I started as a consultant working on various production development projects. Since then, experience has been accumulated in many different industries, from the pharmaceutical and food industries to shipbuilding. At Hefmec, I currently work as a customer manager and senior consultant.

The automotive industry still plays a significant role in my work history. I have become familiar with various projects with tight schedules as a project leader, as a technical expert in purchasing, and in getting production up on time. As a result of the confidential customer relationship built over the years, I have been selling the customer’s projects all over Europe to third parties as a technical expert.

Free time is spent working out skiing, rollerblading or HIIT training. A counterbalance to work and sports is a peaceful cabin.
