Aki Jalonen

Despite studying mechanical engineering, I started my career in 2013 as a structural engineer. Experience was gained in, among other things, the design and dimensioning of steel structures and joints.

At Hefmec, I have worked as a mechanical designer since 2017, working on various machine and tool projects. The projects vary from side to side, although a large part of my time is spent on the design of lifting aids and strength calculations. During the last few years, I have also given regular lectures at Aalto University related to practical design and strength calculation work.

A counterbalance to work is provided by the gym, jogging and judo, with which experience has been accumulated for more than 20 years. In addition to sports, I like to spend my free time tinkering with bicycles and various construction projects, and grilling in the summer.
