Antti Blomroos

My career in engineering started in the early 2000s in an engineering company with mechanical design for paper machines and boiler duct design.

At Hefmec, I started in 2004 working on the modernisation of slitter rewinders for paper machines. My work has also included tool design for the diagnostics and automotive industries as well as individual equipment design projects. I have been involved in machine and plant design for process engineering plants for more than ten years.

I spend most of my free time with 30-year-old Fords, but I’m interested in all old technology. Winters are spent on maintenance and repairs and summers are spent behind the wheel driving around Finland and sometimes abroad. My other leisure activities include swimming, walking, reading, the many chores in my old house and summer cottage, and watching films.
