I started my career in engineering at the age of 14 in a machine shop making conveyors. In less than twenty years, the job description has progressed from various manufacturing steps to design and project management, where I have been since 2012.

Despite having a degree in civil engineering, my career has focused on tool, machine and equipment design. Along the way, I have worked on conveyor line design, passenger lift projects and the design and commissioning of the world’s largest mobile care bridge. At Hefmec, I have held the positions of Chief Designer, Project Manager and Mechanical Designer since 2018. The projects have mainly been related to the pharmaceutical, food, automotive and mechanical engineering industries.

Besides work, I spend my time reading books and cycling in the countryside, rarely at the same time.
