Juho Seppälä

I started my career as a mechanical designer in 2000. At first, my job description included the mechanical design of paper machine post-processing equipment and tractor power transmission components.

In 2004, I co-founded Hefmec. At Hefmec, I have worked in versatile tasks and daily design work. At the moment I work as the main designer. In addition to planning, strength calculations, and organizing manufacturing subcontracting, my job description includes guiding younger designers and often one of them accompanies me on customer visits. However, the main part of my work is still spent in planning and developing various technical solutions.

I have planned and organized the production of hundreds of tools for various industrial environments. I have been the main designer in several machine and equipment design projects. Thanks to these projects, basic automation solutions, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical drives have also become familiar.

Free time is largely spent in sports, either in children’s hobbies as a spectator or coach, or playing ice hockey.
