Simon Hindersson

I work at Hefmec’s Vantaa office as a tool designer and manufacturing technology expert. My design projects are mainly related to the design of production tools. Thanks to my strong machine shop background, I get to help with manufacturing technical questions in many projects.

Before Hefmec, I worked in a small machine shop as a production manager, designer and sheet metal welder. As a designer, I was responsible for the production drawings of various steel structures and sheet metal parts. As a production manager, I was responsible for production planning, management and quality control. As a production worker, I produced many kinds of customer projects by welding, edging, and torch, plasma, and laser cutting. I also completed welding qualifications for various MAG welding joints.

I spend my free time in nature, going out, fishing and practicing versatile sports. I also like to build and fix everything from furniture to vehicles.
