Simon Hindersson

I work at Hefmec’s Vantaa office as a tool designer and manufacturing technology specialist. My design projects are mainly related to the design of production tooling. Thanks to my strong machine shop background, I am able to assist in many projects with manufacturing engineering issues.

Before joining Hefmec, I worked in a small machine shop as a production supervisor, designer and sheet metal welder. As a designer, I was responsible for manufacturing drawings for various steel structures and sheet metal parts. As a production supervisor, I was responsible for production planning, management and quality control. As a production worker, I completed a wide range of customer projects by welding, edging, flame cutting, plasma cutting and laser cutting. I also completed a variety of MAG welding qualifications.

I spend my free time outdoors, fishing and doing a variety of sports. I also like to build and repair everything from furniture to vehicles.
