Tomi Laava

I started working for Hefmec as a mechanical designer at the end of 2011, since then I have been working either at our customers’ premises or at our own office. My work experience is focused on equipment supply projects, where equipment is designed and implemented according to customer needs.

I have experience in the pharmaceutical, automotive and heavy engineering industries. In engineering projects, I have worked on holistic equipment design from functional definition to product development and design. I have also worked as a production development engineer to improve efficiency, safety and quality in manufacturing industry.

As a counterbalance to work, I spend my free time exercising. In the summer you can find me on the golf greens and in the off-season at the gym or on a run.
