Tomi Laava

started working at Hefmec as a mechanical designer at the end of 2011, since then I have worked either at our customers’ premises or at our own office. I have work experience especially in equipment delivery projects, where the equipment is designed and implemented according to the customers’ needs.

I have experience in the pharmaceutical industry, the automotive industry, and the heavy engineering industry as well. In design projects, I have done comprehensive device design, from defining functions to product development and design. I have also worked as a production development engineer, developing the efficiency, safety and quality of the manufacturing industry.

As a counterbalance to work, I spend my free time exercising. In the summer you can find me on the golf greens and in the off-season at the gym or jogging.
