Iiro Salminen

I started at Hefmec in 2017. I have worked on various design and production projects and production lines at customer premises. My work at Hefmec has included project management, mechanical design, machine and equipment design, supplier supervision, and tendering and coordination of subcontracting in the vehicle battery industry, the pharmaceutical industry, and the marine industry.

On the design side, my tasks have been related to work equipment projects, sprinkler systems, access systems and process industry. The work has included e.g. development of working methods, strength calculation and CE documentation.

I started my career in 2011 with the design and manufacture of train maintenance equipment, elevators, cranes and building maintenance equipment.

I often spend my free time at judo courts, tennis courts or the gym. The remaining time is spent working on various construction projects, from woodwork to Arduino programming.
