Iiro Salminen

I started at Hefmec in 2017, working at customer sites on various design and production projects and production lines. My work at Hefmec has included project management, mechanical design, mechanical and equipment design, supplier supervision, tendering and coordination of subcontracting in the automotive battery, pharmaceutical and marine industries.

On the design side, my work has involved work equipment projects, sprinkler systems, access systems and process industries. Work has included the development of working methods, strength calculations and CE documentation.

I started my career in 2011 in the design and manufacture of train maintenance equipment, lifts, cranes and building maintenance equipment.

I often spend my free time on the judo tatami, on the tennis court or in the gym. The rest of my time is spent on various construction projects, from woodworking to Arduino programming.
