Scissor Lifting Clamps

The gripping members of the scissor lifting clamps engage, form-locked, the internal or external surfaces of the object. The expanding scissor-like frame and interchangeable gripping jaws enable objects of different sizes and forms to be lifted quickly and safely with the same device. The scissor lifting clamps bring savings in procurement and production costs, and in worktime.

Product description

The gripping members of the scissor lifting clamps engage the internal or external surfaces of the object by form-locking. Scissor lifting clamps are typically used to lift round objects such as large bearings or cylindrical objects. The quick-clamping feature of the lifting jaws enable them to be changed or turned, thus allowing the object to be lifted by its internal or external surfaces. The jaws are opened and closed by hand crank, ensuring secure fastening during the lift, and enabling the object to be detached in a controlled way after the lift. The object can be gripped even more securely by using a clamp press. If the headroom of the workspace prevents the use of scissor lifting crabs, an alternative solution would be a frame clamp.

The advantage of lifting clamps is that different objects can be lifted with the same device. The load is released in a controlled way with the hand crank. This facilitates for example installation of large objects in tight spaces, such as in bearing housings or around an axle. The lifting grabs bring savings in procurement and production costs, as well as in work time.
