Lifting scissors
The object to be lifted is gripped with a self-tightening and form-locking action from the inside or outside. The opening scissor-like body and the interchangeable gripping jaws allow you to lift objects of different sizes and shapes quickly and safely with a single tool. Lifting scissors save on procurement costs, cycle time and production costs.
We have supplied lifting scissors for a wide range of products and applications. The lifting shears we supply are used for applications such as installing products in confined spaces, handling cable reels and many other applications involving the handling of round or annular products.

Product description
The object to be lifted is gripped from the inside or outside by means of a form-locking and self-tensioning action. Typically, lifting scissors are used to lift round objects such as large bearings or annular objects. The quick-locking mechanism of the jaws allows the jaws to be interchanged or rotated, allowing lifting from inside or outside the workpiece. The jaws, which can be closed and opened with a hand crank, ensure secure clamping of the piece during lifting and allow controlled release of the piece after lifting. The clamps provide a firmer grip on the piece. If the height of the space limits the use of lifting scissors, ring grips are an alternative solution.
The advantage of lifting scissors is that different pieces can be lifted with the same tool. The load can be removed in a controlled manner using a hand crank. This makes it easier, for example, to place large pieces in confined spaces such as bearing housings or around shafts. Lifting scissors save on procurement costs, phase time and production costs.
